Data Visualisation with R and Python
Domain: D2 Communication and dissemination

TACE: A - Acquisition

Format: Talk, Workshop, IT
Suitable for: All

This workshop will cover visualising data for the purpose of presenting and communicating research. The first half of the session will introduce you to the basics of data visualisation theory. Then, in the second half of the session, you will have the opportunity to develop practical data visualisation skills using either R or Python. Workbooks will be provided for you to work through independently, though a tutor will be on hand to answer any queries you may have or if there are specific skills or issues that you wish to explore in detail.

NOTE: This workshop will require prior knowledge of either the R or Python programming languages and software as a prerequisite for attendance. Therefore, you may wish to attend either ‘Python: An Introduction to Programming’ or ‘R Package for Statistical Analysis: An Introduction’ before booking a place.

Additional coaching opportunities are available via weekly data clinics.
