This two-day course will give you a good grounding in statistics and enable you to learn new techniques and the theory behind them, e.g. how to use them, when to use them, when not to use them. Topics will include:
* introduction to statistics
* standard statistics e.g. mean, standard deviation etc.
* regression and correlation
* frequentist vs. Bayesian
* error calculation
* likelihoods
* hypothesis testing
* non parametric methods

Through attendance, you will:
* learn the theory behind statistical methods and statistical theory in general
* understand when different methods should be used
* work through examples of statistical methods and techniques
