EndNote: An Introduction to Managing Your References (Online Course)
Domain: A1 Knowledge base

In the course of your research, you will need to collect, store and retrieve a large number of references. This online tutorial is an introduction to EndNote, the electronic reference manager, which is available on campus to all members of the University. During this tutorial, you will learn how to:
* create an EndNote library of references
* add references to your library by automatically importing from journal databases
* insert those references into a Word document
* create a bibliography in the style of your choice
To access the tutorial, go to the EndNote module on the home page of Learning Central. The tutorial covers all the main techniques you will need to use EndNote to support your work. But, if you require more advanced training in EndNote, please see the EndNote: Further Techniques for Managing Your References workshop. Note: This tutorial focuses on the Windows version of EndNote. The Mac version, though very similar, differs in some respects. See the ‘Manage, cite and reference’ pages on the Intranet for further details on EndNote software or ask in any library for information. If you require further support after completing this online tutorial, please post on the discussion board in the EndNote module or contact your Subject Librarian.
