The University subscribes to a huge range of electronic journals, subject-based databases and other services to ensure you can find good-quality information to support your research. By the end of the workshop you will have identified the key information sources relevant to you as well as techniques for getting the best from them. This workshop will cover:
* analysing your topic and identifying appropriate information sources
* making your searches more effective
* finding journal articles and other published research using databases
* keeping up-to-date with newly published research
