* demonstrating the registration process and exploring it its function
* explaining the search room rules
* introducing the types of documents held at Glamorgan Archives
* exploring the finding aids and order forms for documents
* touring the strong rooms to see where the documents are held
* finding out how the documents are catalogued by Archivists
* discovering more about conservation at the Archives including the correct handling of documents and the use of book weights and rests
* discussing with staff the best way to frame an enquiry and how responses are formulated

You can contact the Archives and make arrangements to speak to staff individually about your research. When booking, please mention that you are a research student and would like to discuss your subject area so that arrangements can be made with the appropriate staff.
