Mindfulness is about being aware, in the present moment of yourself and the world around you. Mindfulness is not about emptying your mind; it’s about letting thoughts in, identifying feelings and physical sensations.

The aim with mindfulness is to become more self-aware and start to have responses rather than reactions to what’s happening. Having a wiser response gives us more control over our thoughts and feelings and direct them to a more useful and positive place so we can enjoy the moments on any given day.

Mindful practice creates a calmer headspace which in turn reduces anxiety, encourages better sleep and is the ideal platform to start meditative practice for more harmony and contentment in our busy lives.

This one-hour introductory session will introduce you to mindfulness exercises that you can practice on your own. Lunch will be available after the session.

Additional services are available to help support you during your studies.
