Yoga has been proven to help with stress, anxiety, depression, digestion, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, circulation, muscle fatigue, scoliosis, weight loss, diabetes, varicose veins, menopause, sciatica, postural misalignment; the list is extensive! This is why the Doctoral Academy has arranged for our PGRs to have the opportunity to attend a free yoga class.

George, a qualified yoga teacher who studied in New York with the founder of Stråla, Tara Stile will be taking you through an hour long practice. Stråla is an easy going yoga practice, allowing you to move naturally with your own body. A playlist of rock and pop music helps to energise and we use the breath to move and to bring a sense of calm to the mind.

Suitability: beginner to advanced

What to bring: wear clothes you can move in, and a towel or yoga mat so you can kneel comfortably.
