Are you in your final year and struggling to write your PhD thesis? Does the thought of writing make you anxious? According to current research, writing anxiety is one of the main sources of writer’s block for doctoral students. This interactive workshop is based on a new model designed by Dr Catriona Ryan to reduce writing anxiety. The model consists of nine steps which will help you to identify a concise central argument, plan thesis chapters down to the last paragraph as well as further enhance your style of writing. Many students have indicated that the model has increased their confidence and changed their approach to academic writing.

NOTE: To benefit from this workshop, you should have a clear idea about the content of a chapter or chapters in your thesis.
