How to Present Your Research in Three Minutes
Domain: D2 Communication and dissemination

TACE: A - Acquisition

Format: Workshop/Experiential
Suitable for: All

Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland. It challenges PGR students to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance in just three minutes.

This interactive workshop, which is delivered by the winner of our Thesis Minute Thesis heat last year, will prepare you to enter the competition. By attending, you will:
• Learn how to turn an idea into a full talk
• Receive tips on how to present and get the most out of your delivery
• Be in a position to present a draft of your 3MT talk by the end of the session

Although this workshop is primarily aimed at students participating in this year’s 3MT competition, there will be something for everyone in the session.
