In addition to hosting workshops that focus on different enterprise and business start-up skills, Careers & Employability is also running a number of ‘hands-on’ projects this year that will help you to bring out your creative side and to think innovatively. These projects, which are open to students from all disciplines, will take place regularly throughout the autumn and spring semesters. Projects confirmed so far include:

The Festival Project, Thursday 29 September
Do you think you’re a great leader? Innovative marketer or winning sales person? The Festival Project gives you the chance to plan and run your very own Festival.

Think Digital, Thursday 20 October
Do you dream of creating the next big video game or app? Think Digital gives you the chance to bring your digital ideas to life.

Disrupt the Block, Thursday 10 – Friday 11 November
Do you have ideas that could transform student lives? Disrupt the Block is your chance to revolutionise halls of residences.

Think Social, Friday 18 – Saturday 19 November
Want to do something for your local community and gain new skills and experience for your CV? Think Social gives you the opportunity to help solve a problem for a local community.

Christmas Market, Tuesday 6 December
Do you enjoy arts and crafts, make handmade gifts, paint or even bake? Book yourself a stall at our Christmas Market and make some extra cash.

Urban Bee Project - Beginning February 2017
Do you know Cardiff Uni has its own Bee Hives? We’re giving you the opportunity to create a whole new brand identity for the honey they produce.
