Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland. It challenges PGR students to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance in just three minutes.

Cardiff University is taking part in the national 3MT® competition in 2019, which is sponsored by Vitae. Prizes will be awarded and our winner will progress to the UK 3MT® semi-final at which six national finalists will be identified.

By participating in this competition, you will:

* Develop your academic, presentation and research communication skills
* Explain your research in language appropriate to an intelligent but non-specialist audience.

Apply now to present . The deadline for entry is Friday 1 March.
