In-School and Doctoral Academy Careers Appointments

Careers professionals are linked to academic Schools and can provide you with personal, subject-specific guidance on everything from career planning, skills development and job searches to interview preparation. Search ‘careers appointment’ on the intranet for more details.

PGR drop-in appointments with a Careers Adviser are available at the Doctoral Academy from 14:00 – 16:00 on the first Monday of every month between June and September.

Work Experience

The Futures Connect team at Careers & Employability works across a wide range of industries and sectors to bring in work experience opportunities for all students,

* Insights - bite-sized work experience, flexibly set up around your timetable and available on a part-time basis.
* Classroom Experience Project - flexible opportunities in schools if you’re interested in exploring a career in teaching.
